ABOUT SEJAL

Sejal Patel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Mercy University, an MAT in Science Education from the University of Iowa, and a BS in Biology, also from the University of Iowa. Sejal is EMDR trained and a certified Reiki Practitioner. For years, Sejal has worked with individuals, couples, and families to address mental health concerns, resolve interpersonal issues, and find their way to healthier and more fulfilling lives. Prior to her career in psychotherapy, Sejal was an educator in the Iowa City Community School District. She currently owns  a private psychotherapy practice in Coralville, Iowa. Outside of the office, Sejal is a busy mother of three children and spends leisure time enjoying family, yoga, food and travel.
